SMS pricing, common questions
No. SMS is entirely prepaid, buy a package of credits and send whenever you like. The only optional monthly cost is a virtual mobile number at $18.50/month if you want recipients to be able to reply.
Inbound SMS is always free, but you need a virtual mobile number at $18.50/month to receive it. If you send with a Sender ID only, recipients see your business name and can't reply.
1 credit = 1.25 SMS to an Australian mobile of 160 characters or less. So 1,000 credits = 1,250 SMS. NZ mobiles use 1.5 credits per message and international rates vary by destination.
No, credits never expire. Buy once and use them whenever you need to.
Yes. The same credit balance covers both fax and SMS: 1 credit sends one standard fax page. You can mix freely across the two.
Yes. Add the email address you want to send from as an allowed sender on your account, then send to destinationmobilenumber@sms.gofax.com.au. Works with Gmail, Outlook and any SMTP client.
